Large Pole to Mast or Crossarm Adapter Kit

The CM345 is an adapter to mount a vertical 1 to 2.5 in, pipe (1.315 to 2.875 in. OD) or a 1 in, horizontal pipe (1.315 in. OD crossarm) to a large pole with a 20.32 to 53.34 cm (8 to 21 in,) diameter. By using this adapter with a vertical mast or crossarm, you can mount other standard Campbell Scientific gear to a larger pole. The vertical pipe clamps used are standard Unistrut clamps. 

  • The 1.5 in. pipe size (1.9 in. OD) should be used to mount the CM300, CM305, or CM310 vertical masts. This is the -V3 option.
  • The horizontal pipe option should be used to mount Campbell Scientific crossarms, which are 1 in. pipe (1.315 in, OD).
  • Quick-release band clamps are used to mount the CM345 to a large-diameter telephone or utility pole. For better stability, consider using two of these adapters when mounting vertical masts.
  • If you are mounting the SP20, SP50, or SP90 solar panel mounts to the CM345, select the -NP (-NP No pipe mounts) option, and those mounts can be attached directly to the CM345 with user-supplied 0.784 cm (5/16 in.) hardware.
  • For sizes not listed, generic 1-⅝ in. UniStrut tubing or pipe clamps can be used, up to 2.5 in. pipe (2.875 in. OD). Order the -NP (-NP No pipe mounts) option.
