The CC640 camera is designed and built to withstand harsh, remote conditions. It operates at temperatures as low as -40°C. It can operate as a stand-alone camera or it can be connected to one of our data loggers. The camera can store images on a CompactFlash card or transmit them to a data logger.
Technical Description
The CC640 is a digital camera for use in harsh environments. Where typical cameras cannot withstand cold temperatures, our CC640 digital camera operates at temperatures as low as -40°C!
The CC640 can be used by itself as a stand-alone camera or can be connected to one our data loggers. The data logger can trigger an image acquisition by applying a 5- to 12-volt signal. When used independently, the camera's precision real-time clock can be used to trigger an image capture.
Images can be stored on a CompactFlash card or in the data logger's memory. The images are stored in a .jpg format.
