ACC CSAT3B Power/SDM Splitter

The 30293 Power/SDM Splitter is used to daisy-chain multiple CSAT3B anemometers in series. The splitter has three 6-pin M16 connectors. One connector fits into the Power/SDM port on the back of the CSAT3B block. The other two connectors are used to connect to cables (type CSAT3BCBL1 or CSAT3BCBL2) that lead to other CSAT3B anemometers in series or to a data logger if the splitter is on the CSAT3B closest to the data logger.

A 30293 is required for each CSAT3B in the daisy-chain regardless of the communication method used, except for the daisy-chain's terminal CSAT3B, which can be connected directly to the cable without the need for a splitter. The splitter is IP68 rated, meaning it protects the connections from dust and water. For a daisy-chain of CSAT3B anemometers using communications other than SDM (i.e., CPI or RS-485), the 30294 CPI/RS-485 Splitter is also required.
