This is Part 1 of a video series on proper grounding techniques. Proper grounding lends stability and protection to a data acquisition system. Grounding is the easiest and least expensive insurance against data loss, but is often neglected or done incorrectly. This video explains the basic concepts of voltage, current, and resistance and then demonstrates the different types of grounding terminals available on Campbell Scientific dataloggers and how to use each one.
