- M5/C5 - Single-ping distance.
- Returns distance to surface using a single ultrasonic ping rather than a multi-ping median. Useful for rapid measurements or diagnostics.
- Response: 1 value (distance in meters).
- M6/C6 - Distance statistics.
- Returns the median distance along with minimum, maximum, and standard deviation of the temperature-compensated distance measurements from the multi-ping cycle.
- Response: 4 values (distance, min, max, std in meters).
- IM5/IC5 and IM6/IC6 identify - measurement metadata responses added for the new commands.
