The 27278 is an aluminum stand that can be used to temporarily hold an IRGASON or EC150 head in its proper upright position, which is required while performing a zero and span procedure. This is convenient in a laboratory setting where it may be inconvenient to set up the standard mounting hardware. If the zero and span procedure is performed onsite and does not require removing the analyzer from its standard mounting bracket, the 27278 is not needed.
