The 10588, a 17 in. cable, is included with the 10589 ET Short Haul Modem Kit and 10585 ET Telephone Modem Kit. This blue serial ribbon cable connects the 9-pin CS I/O port inside an ET107 or ET106 enclosure with a communication peripheral. The 10588 must be used instead of the standard SC12 cable because the newer SC12 cable does not fit inside the ET107 or ET106 enclosure.
