DES2

The DES2 provides a desiccated environment capable of housing large desiccant packages. The DES2 serves two purposes. First, it allows a desiccated environment for the vent tube to terminate (the DES2 vents externally so equilibrium with atmospheric pressure can be maintained) and second, it provides terminal strips for adding a continuation cable to the end of the sensor cable. This allows expensive vented cables to terminate upon exiting the well, while allowing a less expensive, non-vented cable to be run from the DES2 to the data logger. The DES2 can accommodate connections for a 6-wire pressure transducer (with shield).
