The 39677 inline desiccant is used to vent a barometer connected to a pressure port, similar to the 39421 R. M. Young Pressure Port. The kit includes the following:

• 3.05 m (10.0 ft) of red silicone tubing (pn 37580) with a 0.318 cm (0.125 in.) inner diameter and a 0.64 cm (0.25 in.) outer diameter
• One Drierite desiccant tube (pn 39676) with a 0.318 cm (0.125 in.) barbed fitting
• One 0.318 cm (0.125 in.) inner diameter barbed straight brass connector
• Two UV-resistant black cable ties (pn 7362)
• Two adhesive-backed cable tie mounts (pn 2376) to mount the desiccant tube in an enclosure

The desiccant changes from blue to pink in color to indicate when it needs to be changed. The entire tube can be replaced or recharged as necessary.
