9598

The 9598 is a replacement relative humidity chip for the HMP60,  HMP50, and CS500 temperature and relative humidity probes. Users can replace this chip in the field, eliminating the downtime typically required for the recalibration process.

The 9598 provides a replacement RH chip and filter cap for an HMP60, HMP50, or CS500 temperature and RH sensor. The 9598 is plugged into a socket underneath the end cap and filter assembly. Please note that there is a small bump that acts as a standoff between the RH chip and the temperature circuit. The chip should be inserted so that the bump faces the temperature circuit.

Campbell Scientific recommends chip replacement every 2 to 3 years depending on the application.
