Overview
The HC2A-S3 is a replacement sensor for the retired HC2S3-L Temperature and Relative Humidity Probe. The sensor is a drop-in replacement for existing installations, requiring no change in programming or wiring. This sensor does not ship with a cable. Please refer to the HC2S3CBL1 if a cable is required.
Technical Description
The HC2A-S3 sensor is an update to the retired HC2S3-L, manufactured by Rotronic AG. This sensor features an updated housing and the HYGROMER HT-1 next-generation sensing element. The HC2A-S3 is fully backward-compatible with the previous generation of sensor, with matching electrical and measurement specifications. However, the length of the sensor has increased by 2.5 cm (1.0 in.) and requires that the sensor be installed slightly lower in the radiation shield to optimize the position of the sensing elements in the shield.
