#1 - How many dataloggers has Campbell Scientific manufactured?

#2 - What type of quality assurance testing do Campbell Scientific dataloggers undergo?
Campbell Scientific dataloggers are 100% calibrated and tested prior to shipping.
#3 – What is the MTBF for the CR1000 datalogger?
If you’re not familiar with this term, the MTBF (mean time between failures) is a quality assurance index that describes the expected reliability of our dataloggers. Each month, we measure experienced MTBF by accumulating the time from shipment through the warranty period for all of the same model units under the warranty. Then we divide the accumulated time by the number of warranty repairs made for that same period.
For our CR1000 datalogger, our current MTBF is 1,417 years. In terms of reliability, that means that if you purchase a CR1000 today, your probability of no failure during the warranty period is 99.79%.
